belArts presents: Long Pose Session

All levels are welcome.

The visual arts school hosted in our premises, belArts, hosts this event for artists to practice and create.

With a professional model each month, we aim to support artists to create substantial pieces. New themes occur each month with our props. We only use the very best professional models, rotating between male and female.

At 1:30pm, the model begins a rotation of 3 x 5-minute poses catering for the group’s preferences. The group cheerfully vote for the majority’s favourite. This pose is then held for approximately 3 hours (20 minute blocks with rest breaks).

• Cost is $35 for a 3 hour general admission session

We only use the very best professional models, rotating between male and female.

We are a fully equipped art studio, providing easels, donkeys, tables and chairs depending on your preference.

BYO materials, but if you do forget we can provide willow charcoal and pencils. A2 sheets of cartridge paper can be purchased from our store for $0.50 each.

Please only use odourless solvent for workplace health & safety requirements.

Tea and coffee are provided in the break and more often than not someone brings along biscuits or cake. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow artists and students in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

Yoga to enhance creativity is offered before the Long Pose Session with professional instructor Monica Batiste. Please bring a mat.

• Cost is $20 for just the Yoga Session.

• If you purchase a Yoga Session and Long Pose Session bundle, cost is $50 ($5 discount).
