The teaching and workshop studio at Chrome Street Studios is fully equipped for your teaching needs. We provide easels, shadow boxes, a variety of tables, stools, chairs, donkeys as well as various props and furniture pieces. We also have a collection of plaster casts, an objects library and variety of books and publications.

The studio also has a

• Kitchenette with fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. It is also fully equipped with glasses, plates and serving ware for functions.

• Wheelchair accessible bathroom.

• Communal seating area adjoining the teaching space.

• Private internal courtyard with a long table, stools and wash up sink.

• Large external courtyard shared with neighbouring businesses.

The event space at Chrome Street Studios is a unique bohemian environment that is warm and welcoming. The acoustics in the heritage listed main space are also stunning for those wishing to host a musical event. The are a number of interesting props, objects, curios and furniture pieces within the space as well as a variety of tables, chairs and stools.

We house 10 private studios which may be rented long term (minimum of 6 months). Suites are mostly 18 square metres (3m x 6m).

All studios enjoy an impressive warehouse height ceiling expanse. Each studio is a little different regarding built in storage and position within the building.

Rent is $435 per month (about $15 per day) including electricity. There is also WiFi available.

Residents have access to common areas which are a kitchenette (with fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and cutlery), lounge (subject to teaching), bathroom and internal courtyard.
