belArts presents: Friendly and Fabulous Life Drawing Group
All levels are welcome.
The visual arts school hosted in our premises, belArts, hosts this event for artists to practice or to learn figure drawing.
At 6:30pm, Wayne Van Eyk begins the tutored Life Drawing. Classes are small to ensure the best learning experience. Wayne explicitly demonstrates and provides 1:1 support on the technical concepts for drawing, including gesture, form and anatomy, as well as practical advice about materials and your position when drawing. All levels are welcome.
Cost is $60 for a 2.5 hour class.
Starting April 2025, cost is $60 for a 2.5 hour class if you are enrolled in belArts.
Starting April 2025, casual drop-ins without belArts enrolment is $80 for a 2.5 hour class.
The untutored Life Drawing starts at 7pm.
Cost is $30 for a 2 hour general admission session.
We only use the very best professional models, rotating between male and female.
We are a fully equipped art studio, providing easels, donkeys, tables and chairs depending on your preference.
BYO materials, but if you do forget we can provide willow charcoal and pencils. A2 sheets of cartridge paper can be purchased from our store for $0.50 each.
Tea and coffee are provided in the break and more often than not someone brings along biscuits or cake. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow artists and students in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
